Sardis Senior Basketball

Kate's enjoying grade 10 at Sardis Secondary School. She is on the grade 10 basketball team and is doing well academically. Kate received A-Honors in her last report card - she especially enjoys Chemistry and Math. It's great to see Kate developing into an amazing young woman. If you are one of our friends who hasn't seen her in a while, you will be happy to hear about the incredible "character" that she has. She is a generous, kind and loving person. She constantly surpasses all that Gary and I imagined could be in a relationship with a daughter. She's fun, creative and a great leader. We like her (can you tell?)..... a lot.

Kate chose to be baptized last May - she did this in front of our church, family and friends. It was a meaningful step for her as she continues to grow in her faith. My mother gave her some words of encouragement for her spiritual journey, including these ones from a prophet of old, "The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing." Zephaniah 3:17

We are very proud of Kate as she continues to do her best in every endeavour, but we are thrilled with WHO she is. I wish you could all know her like we do.
