Gary and Barrie
Here is Gary playing Christmas Carols with Barrie McMaster on cello. This was just a few days ago in our home at the Church leaders' Christmas party.

Even though Gary spent most of that day at the hospital with Matthew, we decided not to cancel the party as we could think of no other group of people that we would like to have around us. There was a prayer time for Matthew's healing that I will treasure for years to come. Many of us sat around and sang Christmas Carols into the night with Gary and Barrie playing the beautiful music.

Sometimes when Christmas gets all caught up in the "things we get", a night like this can take you back to all that really matters. This Christmas has been different for our whole family as we've been forced to think more about the meaning of life and less about the trappings of life.
