A Simpson Summary

Gary continues to be the lead pastor at Broadway Church in Chilliwack, BC. The church has about 350 people attending as well as numerous people who would consider this to be their home church through affiliations such as Kidz Klubs. He escaped the "sweeper" in the Vedder River surviving a tubing accident that nearly cost him his life in July.

Sharon has continued to enjoy working in Stir Communications Group, the business she started with Brent Purves after working together for 5 years as the Internet Marketing and Website Designer for Campus Crusade for Christ, Canada. Current clients of Stir include Taiga (Vancouver Outdoor Clothing Manufacturer), Holiday Trails (10 Membership Campgrounds such as Bridal Falls Camperland) and Alpha Canada (Internet Marketing).

As usual, everyone continues to get older, Kate keeps ahead of the boys in this area - she's 14 years old now and having a great time in grade 9. She has a very good group of friends all of whom are beautiful young women with great aspirations. She enjoys her friendships, her school and her basketball team. Kate also enjoys working for Stir doing data entry for Internet Marketing.

Matthew (12) entered Middle School at Vedder Middle in Sardis and he is really taking off in his height and his amount of sleeping. He holds the family record for a 13.5 hour night which is definitely a long time. Matthew spends hours and hours in our cul-de-sac playing road hockey. He enjoys baseball and 2theGoal (a pick-up floor hockey league at church).

Jonathan (11) is the oldest in the school at Promontory Heights Elementary in grade 6. He is employed by a local daycare to walk the school-aged children home. This makes him one of the wealthiest Simpsons in the family. He has really enjoyed the opportunity to work, the responsibility and the opportunity to give his own money to help others.

Bennett (9) is an adventure everyday. He is in grade four at Promontory Heights Elementary and loves life. He continues to collect zillions of stuffed animals and loves his cat, Lily. Bennett is an growing artist who carries his messenger bag around with him filled with sketch books and pencils.
