Here is Kate (back to us) ready to compete at a swim meet in Victoria. Kate's talent and dedication to competitive swimming with the Spartan Swim Club took her to many meets and built her character in discipline and tenacity.
Up until the summer, Kate was swimming 6 times a week and competing monthly. The commitment was taking a toll on her and she made the difficult decision in August to quit swimming competitively.
Kate developed excellent friendships on the Spartan Swim Club and really enjoyed competition. She loves her free time, now, however and has found that her friendships and grades are thriving.
Kate also has the time now to work part-time for Stir Communications Group (Sharon's business) doing Internet Marketing which is a great skill for her future.
