Kathryn Elsmore (right) has hosted us throughout Singapore and India. She took us to meet the team at Artlab - these are the principles (from left to right): Noel, Sunny and Sharon.
These people all left their jobs in a web development company to start Artlab - a school of graphic design. They specialize in graphic design, print design and web design. They also do 3-D design. The school has 15 students who follow one track of design during their 1 year post-graduate studies at Artlab. They all have an undergraduate degree in Visual Communication or Fine Arts when they arrive at Artlab.
Sharon's vision to teach them to think on their own, form their own opinions and express their values through visual communication is contagious.
