Hurray, Hurray, the month of May!

Since February, Matthew has continued to recover. He has chosen to complete grade 8 through Distance Education which means that he works from home on a beautiful new imac computer supplied by the school system. This has been both challenging and easier for him.

Matt and Jon just went to the Shine retreat for middle schoolers at Camp Stillwood. They really enjoyed it as evidenced by their lack of sleep over the weekend.

Dragonboating is in full swing for Sharon, as is the whole wonderful world of baseball for all 3 boys.

Kate was offered 2 jobs! One at Trans Canada Waterslides and the other at Cultus Lake Waterslides. She starts in May. She's going to take the one that pays more. Makes sense.

Gary preached last night to the spanish church that meets at Bakerview Church in Abbotsford. He preached through a translator. It was incredible. God gave him so many illustrations that made sense to those migrant workers. There were many single men in the group and very few children. Most of these people have faced hardships that are beyond what we can imagine.
