Kate received the Graphic Arts award for grade 9 at Vedder Middle School. On the way to the awards ceremony, she said that she hoped she didn't get a lame award like "Graphic Arts". I took immediate offense since that is what I do for most of the hours of my life - as a web designer and all.... I even suggested to her that it would be like telling Gary she hoped she doesn't get a lame award like the "spiritual award".
Well, we were proud even if she thinks it's lame. She's good at it. That can't be helped.
